About Me

I am an Assistant Professor (Research) at the Institute of Environmental Biology, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, where I investigate the genomic underpinnings of adaptation, speciation and hybridization in European pines and other forest trees. My work integrates field sampling, high‑throughput sequencing and computational phylogenomics to understand how demographic history and climate have shaped current diversity, and to inform conservation and forest management strategies.
